College-Level Vocabulary

I find the act of writing very satisfying. I tend to use a fountain pen. I enjoy writing letters and post cards -- it fulfills something inside of me and it makes other smile. I hope.

So, I took a break from my rather stressful day and walked to the school store. I bought a bunch of post cards with a 1960's-era aerial photo of the school. Standing in line, another instructor spoke with me about my unusual hobby and called me an anachronism.

A student looked at us and asked, "Is that some sort of Baptist?"

*sigh*
