- Wow. I was sick. For a week, I failed to leave bed. Then, I went to work, but was otherwise out of order. I am still not all there with my breathing, but this is so much better than it was.
- Saw Neil Gaiman speak. It was amazing. The Bama theatre was sold out. It was the first time he had been to Alabama and he was shocked that his publishers had not sent him sooner. Tickets sold-out in 1.5 minutes. I stood within three feet of him. He actually kissed the cheek of a friend of mine. Sometimes, I touch the spot.
- Attended the Pink Party.
- Saw They Might Be Giants and Jonathan Coulton in concert. TMBG were great. Fantastic. Awesome. And JoCo? I was one twelve-year-old (it was a 14-and-over show, but she got in) from the stage, and I could SMELL him. Cam was right behind me. I only had two disappointments: JoCo only played for thirty minutes and they didn't let my nine-year-old buddy in.
- Bought a new car. Caught way more flack from my coworkers than I ever thought possible.
- Got new cell phones and got texting plans. Okay. I get it now. And my thumbs look all muscle-y and shit.
- Bought a new couch. It's a sleeper sofa. So, we can have guests now and not make them sleep on the futon.
- Saw Bela Fleck and the group of musicians he worked with from Africa to produce Throw Down Your Heart. I have never seen people play the banjo like this. :)
- Our show? The Fairy Tale Show? The biggest show in our history? Yeah. It's Friday. I've been busy. Come and see us if you can.
